Metrc customers will be happy to learn we've added support for updating Canix-Only Item's columns/fields. Previously, this could only be done one-at-a-time via the UI.
What you can do with Bulk Data Uploader for Items in Metrc-Integrated accounts, you can download your existing inventory, and make modifications to the Canix-Only fields (and this will NOT trigger an update to Metrc). It can be done using: Admin -> Facility Data Uploader -> Items:
- Upload Fileyou will need to first manually download your items table data as a CSV export, make your modifications to the Canix-ONLY fields, and then you can upload
- Manual Entryyou will need to "Populate" from your existing inventory, and the only columns available to modify will be the Canix-Only Fields.
This is supported for Active and Inactive Items, but you cannot modify Metrc-fields using this method, Canix-ONLY fields
NOTE: Photo fields aren’t carrying over on transferred items between facilities, and it is because this is how Metrc’s API is built.
