You now have tighter control over how
trade sample inventory
is allocated.With Enforce Trade Sample Allocation Rules enabled (default), trade sample packages are only auto-allocated to Retailer Sample / Promo line items, while non–trade sample inventory stays with standard line items. This prevents accidental depletion or misuse of regulated sample inventory.
Prefer full flexibility? Turn the setting off to allow all packages—trade sample or not—to be allocated across any line item.
