We’ve refined how Bills of Materials are applied to packages. Packages created in Canix now deduct their non-cannabis inputs more reliably, and packages created outside of Canix, such as those created in Metrc, no longer show up in Needs Attention for missing non-cannabis inputs.
What’s new
  • Fewer false flags. Packages created outside Canix (for example, in Metrc) no longer have a BOM applied automatically. Since Canix can’t know which non-cannabis inputs were used on those packages, they will no longer appear in Needs Attention with Missing Non-Cannabis = Yes.
  • More reliable deductions on Canix-created packages. Packages you create in Canix now use the item’s BOM and deduct non-cannabis inputs automatically when enough inventory is available, including packages created from plant batches, cuttings, and harvest cures.
  • Cleaner Needs Attention view. Existing flags on packages created in Metrc have been cleared, so the view now focuses on packages that genuinely need your attention.
What this means for you
  • Packages created in Canix will use the item’s BOM and deduct non-cannabis inputs, as long as enough non-cannabis inventory is available.
  • Packages created outside of Canix will not have a BOM applied and won’t be flagged for missing non-cannabis inputs.
